Pon N Krithikha is a Women International Master and FIDE-rated player. She began playing chess at the age of 7 and won her first state championship at 9 — continuing a winning streak that took her onto the international stage.

In 2004, at the age of 11, she won an Asian gold medal. By 2007 she had become the youngest player to qualify for the Indian Women Premier Chess Championship. In 2012 she completed her WIM title, becoming the 17th Women International Master of India and the 6th in her state.

She has represented India more than 25 times, played for Hindustan Petroleum (2009–2011), led Anna University in zonal tournaments, and was awarded cash and a citation from the Ministry of Sports. Off the board, she is an Engineering graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University (CEG campus).
